Japan’s Tragic Incident

On March 11, Japan was hit by an earthquake which triggered tsunamis and earthquakes that caused a nuclear meltdown of power plants. Many Japanese are risking their lives trying the power plant from releasing any more radiation to protect their people and future generations.  According to CNN more than 21,000 people are missing or dead. The BBC confirmed that the death toll from the disaster has risen above 5,600 and more than 9,500 people are missing and tens of thousands of people are living in temporary shelters. The earthquake and tsunami left devastation on Japanese people and their homeland. Japan has many earthquakes every year, so they are always prepared for earthquakes, but this earthquake, followed by a tsunami could make Japan recover in five years. President Barak Obama says that Japan will recover and become stronger than they were. Japan is very famous for their technology and there economy. We only see what is going on in Japan from videos and pictures, which is devastating, but imagine if we were actually there. There are many ways we can help. Donating money to Japan can help them buy supplies and food to stay clean and healthy. China is helping them by sending them food and other things that can help them become strong again. There are many people that are dying and will die because of that incident that took place; we are trying to do what we can to save them.
