Bullying is abuse that can harm an individual emotionally, physically, and verbally. There are mostly bullying in school. Kids bully others because they want to look cool, popular, and strong so no one would “mess” with them. According to the New York Times, Obama said that "Preventing bullying isn't just important to us as President and First Lady; it's important for us as parents, it breaks our hearts to think about any parent losing a child to bullying, or just wondering whether their kids will be safe when they leave for school in the morning." Many students that are bullied become depressed and that cause them to lack concentration in school, or sometimes they are afraid to come to school so they stay home or cut school. To resolve the problem of bullying, the Obama administration will have students, parents, teachers, non-profit leaders, advocates, and policymakers attended the conference where public-private partnerships that are limiting bullying and try to stop it. They also provided a website for community members to identify and stop bullying.
