Closing schools.

The New York City department of Education has been looking at schools and evaluating teachers because many students fail tests and the teacher still passes them.  The Bloomberg administration has closed or in the process of closing more than 110 schools. Right now they are looking at schools in the Bronx. They want to replace principles and half of the teachers in schools. They are not only looking to replace teachers, but replace larger schools with smaller ones. They said they would do it one way or another, but if they do close the schools, the kids might have to go to other schools and the schools could become over crowed. Teachers that might lose their job might have difficulty finding another job in this economy.
